for the X Decode Pro 2009
program. It was the first new program in
years, meant to be an updated,
modified, and simplified version of
the ZR FileWorks 2006 program for
Windows Vista. It had been
updated to better integrate with the
Window's Vista file and user system
and because of that is much more
integrated with Windows 7
and Windows 8 as well,
which use the same settings.
ZR FileWorks was Scandere's most
acclaimed program. The second series, ZR
FileWorks Turbo was recommended by
CompuServe Magazine and that online
service. ZRFW Multimedia, the 3rd
series, was featured with a picture and
full article in PC World magazine. The
4th series, ZRFW Omega was a Top Pick
recommended program on AOL for 4 years
straight. This newer program is based
upon the 2004-2006 fifth generation of
ZRFW programs (ZRFW Mach1 and ZRFW
Mach2) and closely resembles it as you
can tell from the screen
captures. However, it was updated
greatly to be simpler and to better
integrate with Windows Vista, and
because of that now integrates
better with Windows 7 and
Windows
8 desktop. May
require being installed in or run in
administrative or XP mode on Windows 7 / 8
desktop, and Vista.
It is a file
manager, file decoder, music player,
and more. It includes playable
levels of the Cubix 2D
3D 4D games, a freeware version
of the xMusic Media Player for music
CD's, MP3's, Wavs, etc. and Decode Gold 2006
for decoding ZIP and other compressed
file types.
